Ha Giang Adventure and Homestay Tour
 From the magnificent reaches of its rugged mountains to the spectacular rice fields carving out it many valleys and forests, Ha Giang is Vietnam’s dream destination.  DAY 1: Hanoi – Tay Minority Home-stay


 
From the appointed place in Hanoi, company’s bus takes you to Ha Giang – the land of unique culture and traditions which have been well preserved until now. On the way, we have stop for lunch. Arriving at Me Village of the Tay in Ha Giang, tourists are warmly welcomed by the friendly and hospitable people there. Joining in daily activities; preparing and having lunch with the host family would be unforgettable experiences for tourists coming to this far north land. 

We then overnight in a stilt house of a Tay family.

DAY 2: Tay Minority Village – Trekking – Cycling Tours 



We have 3 options to experience: 
 
1. We are going to have a whole day of trekking along Tay Con Linh mountainside, passing through terraced rice fields, tea plantations and villages of the locals with thatched roof houses. While trekking, we are able to enjoying amazing sceneries of nature and also daily life of ethnic groups. A picnic lunch takes place on peak of a hill before we trek downhill to visit a village of the Dao in the afternoon. In this village, we will be experiencing the traditional herbal bath which is said to be remedy for many diseases, or simply relax with foot soak in herbal medicine. We then have dinner and overnight at home-stay of the Tay.
 
2. Having a full day trekking through terraced rice fields and palm forest; visiting two villages of the local ethnic groups called Phuong Do and Phuong Tien. These villages are among the oldest ones in Ha Giang with large old stilt houses and are surrounded with terrace fields. We then have a picnic lunch. Afternoon, we will be experiencing the traditional herbal bath which is said to be remedy for many diseases, or simply relax with foot soak in herbal medicine. We then have dinner and overnight at home-stay of the Tay.
 

 
3. A full day of hiking and cycling:
 
Morning: we have a cycling trip around Me Village to admire the beauty of nature and enjoy the fresh and peaceful atmosphere of the mountainous village and also get experience about the local life. We then have lunch at the village.
 
Afternoon: we pay a visit to Phuong Do Village – the most ancient village of the Tay in Ha Giang. We then immerse ourselves into the traditional herbal bath which is said to be remedy for many diseases, or simply relax with foot soak in herbal medicine. We have dinner and overnight at home-stay of the Tay.
 
DAY 3: Adventure Tours to Dong Van 

 
We start a day of exploring Dong Van rock plateau by passing the undulating terrain between 700m and 1300m high with mountains, hills and terraced rice fields. On the way, we stop at Quyet Tien Market – the gathering place of many ethnic groups including Nung, White Hmong, Po Y, Dao, Tay to trade for goods. We will be admiring the beauty of the Heaven Gate and Fairy Mountain before dropping to visit a village of the White Hmong, specializing in flax weaving. It’s time for you to discover the village with its own unique and interesting feature. Before having lunch, we also pay a visit to a village of the Long Dress Dao. 
 
 
After having lunch, we drive uphill to the height of 1432m to visit a village of the White Hmong, and then a village of the Lo Lo in Sung La. Lo Lo is one of the groups with the least population in Vietnam. In these villages, you get chances to learn about the local life, discover the beauty of nature and people here. An ancient Hmong King Palace is our next destination before arriving at Dong Van Town. We then overnight in Dong Van. 

DAY 4: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang


 
In the morning, visit the Sunday Dong Van minority market (one of the most beautiful minority markets in Vietnam). Before reaching the peak of Ma Pi Leng, you will be able to admire the panoramic views of a rocky mountain, a river and paddy field terraces. Visit Meo Vac Market where cattle are traded and then proceed to visit the village of Zao Ao Dai before lunchtime. Return to Ha Giang. 
 
In the morning, we pay a visit to Dong Van Minority Market which is one of the prettiest and most crowded markets of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. We then trek to the amazing pass of Ma Pi Leng. On the route, we will be admiring majestic views of rocky mountains, rivers and terraced rice fields. Our next destination is Meo Vac Market where the locals trade for cattle. Before having lunch, we pay a visit to the village of the Dao Ao Dai (or Long Dress Dao) and then return to Ha Giang where we would experience that night in.
 
DAY 5: Ha Giang – Hanoi 

 
After having breakfast, company’s vehicle takes you back to Hanoi. Lunch takes place on route. Arriving in the appointed place in Hanoi, the tour ends.
